Leading integrated manufacturer and distributor of raw materials, ingredients and speciality chemicals for the life sciences and performance chemicals sectors, Cornelius Group, has been reaccredited with ISO9001:2015 certification following another successful audit.

Reinforcing the company’s commitment to driving exemplary quality standards, the accreditation takes into account the various departments and functions within the business, as well as the aligned strategy of the group to ensure that customer needs are always at the forefront of progress. ISO audits were carried out at the company’s Bishops Stortford distribution centre and Haverhill manufacturing site.

To achieve the accreditation, businesses must implement and maintain exemplary quality management systems. The achievement of the ISO 9001:2015 standard assures customers, both existing and in the future, of the high quality, consistency and value that Cornelius delivers.

Darren Spiby, CEO at Cornelius Group commented: “Our re-accreditation to ISO 9001:2015 standard is something we’re extremely proud of and it’s testament to the hard work of the talented and committed individuals at Cornelius. Quality and consistency are so central to our business and to our customers, that we welcome every opportunity to celebrate our achievements and progress.

“ISO 9001:2015 measures how closely we’re managing quality through our supply chain, including customer focus, training and development of staff and a demonstrable process for continuous improvement – particularly important to us as we have recently realigned a number of our business systems. We have always been a values-led business, so we’re delighted to be recognised for excellence in these fields, which helps us continue our distinctive path as a best-in-class service provider.”

The accreditation follows news of Cornelius Polska receiving the same ISO 9001:2015 award, showcasing the uniform approach to customer-led excellence across the group.
