New Health Claim for Creatine Approved

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has issued a statement relating to a claim for the use of creatine in combination with resistance training and improvement in muscle strength.
The claim, which was filed by Creapure® manufacturer AlzChem and approved by the EFSA, states:
“Daily creatine consumption can enhance the effect of resistance training on muscle strength in adults over the age of 55.”
