Cornelius Technical Business Development Manager, Daniel Whitby, attended the Beauty Trends and Innovation Conference in London on 24th September.
This annual event brings together many brands, bloggers, suppliers and retailers from the beauty industry at one key event. With talks by The Body Shop, Women's Health, GHD and Tesco, this year’s event focused on social media and harnessing it for brand promotion.
The one day event gave some great insights into how big and small brands interface with the "Social Space" and use it to drive customer sales. "Authenticity" and "Wellness" were the key buzzwords of the day and it was a well-attended event with lots of time allowed for networking.
