Trends were, in fact, Cornelius' focus at Formulate this November and we have created a trends presentation which covers in detail nine current macro trends - J Beauty, AVIDs (16-20 year olds), Gender neutral, Sleep, Personalisation, Trash to treasure, Green, Superfoods and Microbiome.

Green beauty is a sector within the beauty industry which is steadily growing and receiving increasing media attention. The drive behind this comes largely comes from millennials - Mintel data shows that 67% of young people choose ethical products where possible, with reduced packaging being one of the first considerations. READ MORE HERE

AW18 colour cosmetics are all about bright hues and plenty of glitter with designers filling the runways with bright and brilliant colour creations: At Giambattista Valli models entire faces are liberally sprinkled with glitter, Altuzarra models had strips of neon around the eye area, at Kenzo bold, bright yellow covered the entire lid up to brow, Guy Laroche favoured metallic lips and eyes whilst Vivienne Westwood painted bold images in red and black on otherwise naked faces. READ MORE HERE
