Fortified Yeasts
LESAFFRE offer 2 types of enriched yeasts with selenium, chromium, zinc, copper and molybdenum

Type 1 - minerals are added during the fermentation step in order to be metabolised by the yeast for increased bioavailability and health benefits

Type 2 - minerals are added in the yeast cream forming a blend which is similar to a yeast /mineral premix showing much better homogeneity than a dry-blend for process benefits
