Chione™ Snowfall White - A synthetic mica inspired by the shimmering and pure whiteness of newly fallen snow.

Chione™ derives its name from the Greek Goddess of snow. The new Chione™ pigment from BASF is based on synthetic Fluorphlogopite mica which, compared to the traditional muscovite mica, exhibits a very clean, white colour, while the intermediate particle size provides a shimmery appearance.

This new technology platform from BASF allows excellent control over impurities and gives a clean white colour. New Chione™ Snowfall White will enhance your product with an elegant shimmery look and glossy luster, whilst giving a soft silky feel on the skin.

Chione™ can be used alone or mixed with other BASF effect pigments to create new colour spaces. It is ideal for all cosmetic and personal care formulations.
