Creating a wood & restoring a damaged landscape
Jenny Allen & Ella Ceraulo from the Cornelius Group Technical Centre joined the Cawleys team on Sunday 3rd Feb on the 'Grow with Cawleys' tree planting day.
Donning our thermals & braving the cold wind, trees were planted over 173 acres of Rectory Wood in the 3rd phase of tree planting. A mixture of tree types were planted, grown from seeds taken from the nearby ancient Marston Thrift woodland. The hope is that in years to come the area planted will form a habitat like that of the ancient forest.
