We Have a Government...........................at last

The past few days have run like a wild episode of Eastenders. Who will marry who? Drama at the altar! Who did the dirty on Uncle Gordon...................................as with all good soaps, the story may run on and on, but in the end a conclusion is reached. In this case David Cameron gets his man, and hopefully the partnership will be civil. In all seriousness however, I am pleased that we now have the basis of stable government, willing to face up to the problems that the UK is in. It may be a turning point, a milestone, in British politics, time will tell. Whether it is, I have already suggested to my children that they remember this moment, it may be historic.
Now the hard work begins, for a company such as Cornelius, involved in the manufacturing sector, times could be exciting as our economy tries to rebalance itself. Opportunities will certainly present themselves, and we shall be there trying to take advantage of them. I was pleased to see that March manufacturing figures showed growth based on exports. As I have said for many, many months, the UK is well placed to export, and we are now seeing it happen.
I am optimistic for the future, although I know it will not be easy: but hey, "a faint heart wins no........................"
