I studied Chemistry at Leeds before working for a stockbroker for three years. I then moved back into the Science arena as working as technical manager for Clariant, the Swiss chemical manufacturer before moving into speciality chemicals sales for the last three years.

I live in Stockton On Tees in the far northern wastelands with my wife Sharon who works as a Transplant co-ordinator, and our dog Oscar; the greediest labrador in the world! Outside of work i enjoy playing or watching most sports including football, golf and cricket, supporting Middlesbrough for my sins! I also enjoy travelling overseas, reading and socialising (especially fine wine and food!)
