Bris started his career in a research laboratory at ICI Plastics Division. Whilst working on polyamides and acetyl copolymers he took a part time degree course in Materials Science at City of London Polytechnic. After redundancy in 1981 he was taken on as a salesman for a hazardous waste disposal company in the South of England. He says it taught him more Chemistry than the ONC, HNC, and degree courses. It also taught him how to sell !

Bris then made a move to R P Scherer in 1988 and into the pharmaceutical and health food world selling hard-shell capsules. Watching Germany reunite as he covered the UK for their products taught him how to realise change wasn't something to be afraid of more as an opportunity. More redundancy in 2002 brought him to Cornelius where using knowledge from previous jobs has enabled a slow but steady breakthrough into the pharmaceutical areas for Cornelius.

I am North London born and bred (an Arsenal fan but you can't hold it against me.) I have been married for a long time with a daughter in the Metropolitan Police.
