Trends

Racoon International have introduced MicroWeft Vibrant Colour clip in extensions. The re-usable wefts are easy to apply and provide commitment free, fun colour in shades of Blue, Purple, Red and Orange.

Shampoo and Conditioner

New from Biolage is Scalpthérapie with cooling mint to care for the scalp and moisturise the hair. Suitable for normal and oily hair types, refreshing Kola Nut + Mint Complex control oil without drying the scalp.


Clarifying Shampoo from Hempz is designed to remove product build up, leaving hair shiny and healthy. The gentle formulation includes hemp seed oil and is ideal for swimmers as it gently removes chlorine.
Cornelius can help: Detoxyl is a shea based active available from Silab. It can be incorported into shampoos to reduce the build up of chlorine on the hair.
Label M's Honey and Oat Shampoo & Conditioner are a soothing, hydrating duo created for lack lustre locks. Where as the Colour Stay Shampoo & Conditioner are ideal for those with coloured hair as they help lock in colour.
Cornelius can help: Innospec's Condicare CT-P Conc is a cationic active which can be added to shampoos and conditioners to help preserve colour. Literature is available to demonstrate results.
Alternatively Silab's Denoxyline is an anti-free radical active derived from green tea. It improves the resistance of artifical colourants by neutralising oxidiation reactions.

Ranges

Art of Hair is a new luxury range from Shu Uemura with a selection of products to suit different hair types. The formulations include indulgent ingredients and have decadent fragrances. One of the products is Silk Oil, a super light weight serum infused with camellia oil to give weightless definition to all hair types.

The No Scent No Colour range from Philip Kingsley is ideal for those with sensitive skin and is also free from parabens.

Redken's latest For Men collection includes invigorating and cooling mint. Mint Clean Invigorating Shampoo, Cool Finish Invigorating Conditioner and Chill Blast Daily Fortifying Anti-dandruff Tonic are designed to cool, energise and stimulate the senses.
Cornelius can help: Koko ML 40 and Koko ML Plus from Sino Lion are cooling actives based on Menthyl Lactate and Menthol. They can be incorporated into many formulations to impart a cooling effect.
Stylers

Velvet Moulding Gloss is a new addition to Scruples White Tea range. It styles like a paste but leaves hair as glossy as pomade whilst protecting the hair from external stresses with a thermal shield. White tea leaf, orange flower and vitamin E all act to nourish the hair.

The new Ed Flow from Chill* is a smoothing cream which fights frizz and provides polish. It doubles as a blow dry cream to give flexible hold.

Avec's Smooth & Shine Straightening Cream gives light hold and smooths hair to keep it sleek all day. The gel formula repels water and boosts shine.

Strong Hair Days Texturiser finishing spray from Revlon gives shape and shine to hair. Smooth, voluminous styles can be achieved.
Also new from Revlon is Bump Up, part of their Volume Hair days collection. The volumising spray gives body and bounce and protects against heat styling damage.

Fudge's Hair Shaper now comes in two new variants. Mint - which gives the same texture and hold but with a fresh mint fragrance and Lite which provides a lighter hold but still adds the same texture to hair.
Shaper and Matte Head are two new stylers from Therapi. Shaper is a paste which provides shine as well as texture and hold where as Matte Head is more of a putty.

Kevin Murphy's Body.Gaurd is a lightweight leave-in creme which smooths hair and adds shine.

Hempz Spray Gel contains organic hemp seed oil which is said to have a unique complex which infuses the hair with moisture and nutrients. It also protects from UV damage and the gel provides flake free hold.
Treatments

BC Colored Ends is an intensive treatment which is said to mend hair breakage and protect against colour fade. The formulation contains panthenol to help hair maintain it's natural moisture balance.

La Biosthetique's Cheveux Longs collection has been designed to care for long hair. One of the treatments, Ergines Actives, stimulates the roots into increasing the productivity of the cells by up to 32%, promoting hair growth.

Scalp Balancing Treatment is new from Joico. Available in six individual 25ml applications the treatment stimulates collagen production, minimises excess oil production and reduces flaking.
Cornelius can help: Available from Silab is Adandrine a hydrolyzable tannis rich active derived from pomegranite peel. It significantly improves the condition of the scalp, soothing irritation and itching.

Also designed for scalp protection is Pilvicure Scalp Lotion from La Biosthetique. It comes with the corresponding Pilvicure Shampoo.

Another new launch intended for healthy scalps are Spa Finds Heavenly Hydration Mineralizing Shampoo and Conditioning Scalp Mud. Enriched with dead sea minerals and plant extracts such as jasmine, peach, lavender and coconut oil they sooth and nourish both hair and scalp.

KMS California's Moistrepair Overnight Mask revitalises the hair overnight, injecting moisture into tired locks.
Rest Deep Restructuring Serum by Davines uses rice proteins and strengthening amino acids to pamper hair and restore its health.

Rehab is a new intensive repair mask from Uber Sassy. It is packed with loads of vitamins and natural ingredients to nourish tired hair.
Cornelius can help: RITA's Pationic range are anionic surfactants which demostrate conditioning and an anti-microbial effect on hair and skin. Although anionic in character they are compatible with some cationics and it has been shown that they are substantive to exposed protien on damaged hair, conditioning the damaged sites.

Moroccan Oil is a vitamin rich oil formulated to soften and smooth dry, unmanageable hair. It also offers UV protection and leaves the hair and scalp healthy.
