Bright, punchy colours are here for the spring. One strong trend to emerge is coloured eyeliner, most popular in turquoise as seen to the left at Marni.

Collections
Lancome's L.U.C.I collection will be the last from their creative director Gucci Westman, who is leaving the brand. Luminous Colourless Colour Intelligence (L.U.C.I), looks colourless but comes to life on skin and under different lights.
The collection includes L.U.C.I Eyes - a two shade eyeshadow, one of which is 'photonic' (colour intelligent); an illuminating 'photonic' face powder; several shades of cooling eye shadow, some new shades of Colour Fever Gloss and Colour Fever Shine; as well as a shimmering lilac eyeliner.
Fleur de Feu is the new make-up collection from Guerlain featuring KissKiss Stick Gloss and Obre Eclat Eyeshadow quad. The eyeshadow combines shades of pink, grey and mauave, the colours are overlaid with a floral motif. The lipstick provides all the shine of a lipgloss and comes in raspberry pink.

 | The Body Shop have a brand new spring look for 2008. The 'Spring Bloom' collection contains a number of colour cosmetics for the lips, eyes and complexion. The Shimmer Wave compacts come in two colour variants and contain three shades of irridescent powder.
Complexion
Thrrrob is a new blusher from Benefit to give cheeks a healthy pink glow. The fine, soft pressed powder comes with its own blush brush.
New this year from Estee Lauder is Shimmering Shell Powder, a soft peach shade to create an iridescent glow on skin.
Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation has an anti-fatigue effect, concealing dark circles, imperfections and pepping up dull complexions. The formula is enriched with a high concentration of vitamins* E, F, B5 and minerals, for a revitalised and energised skin.

Eyes
Benefit have introduced Pink to please a woman... Gold to get the guy! The pallett contains soft shades of pink and ethereal gold eyeshadow which can be blended for a customised look.
Too Faced Galaxy Glam baked eyeshadows are designed to make smoky eyes easy, combining pearlescent pigments with a black shadow which mix together to give multidimensional smoky look. They come in four colour variants: Moon Beam, Shooting Star, Super Nova and Deep Space.

  | Lash Power Mascara long-wearing formula mascara from Clinique is said to stay put through rain, sweat tears and humidity but, as it is formulated with innovative thermal sensitive technology, removes easily with warm water. Allergy Tested, Ophthalmologist tested and 100% Fragrance Free.
Maybelline favourite Define-a-lash mascara is now available in a waterproof varient.
Lash Architect Carbon Gloss mascara from L'Oreal creates thick black lashes with a false eyelash effect. To compliment the effect there is also new Super Liner in Carbon Black created with carbon black pigments.
Another new mascara is Hypnose Onyx from Lancome. Available in three sparkling shades they are said to increase lash volume up 600%.
Lips
Too Faced Fuze Slenderize Guilt Free Lipgloss is the result of a partnership between Too Faced cosmetics and Fuze, a Coca Cola owned producer of energizing and slimming drinks. |
The gloss comes in three flavours taken from Fuze's beverage range and includes the same active ingredients such as chromium, L-Carnitine and Super Citrimax.
The chromium improves the amount of energy received from food and the L-Carnitine is an energy boosting amino acid. |  |
However, it is the inclusion of slimming ingredient Super Citrimax, an hydroxycitric acid, which is likely to cause the most interest. It is one of the most widely used diet ingredients and is thought to inhibit fatty acid and cholesterol synthesis.
The product launch is inspired by the growing relationship between the food and cosmetics industries and the beauty from within trend.

Pure Colour Ultralight Glosses are new from Estee Lauder and come in Freshwater Pearl and Sparkling Shell. The water-light formula is ultra reflective and super sheer.
Bourjois Eau de Gloss contains 14% water which is said to ensure moisturisation for four hours as well as a super shiny finish. The water-based formulation has a fresh effect on application and was developed as an alternative to all the sticky glosses on the market.
GTC Tested: The fresh or cooling effect was noted by some more than others, some liked the effect whilst others were less keen. Initialy the product was very shiny but it did not stay on the lips for long. A nice feel but in general sticky lipglosses are preffered, mainly due to the fact they last longer.
