L'Oreals brand new skin care range Derma Genesis has been created to leave skin clear and radiant every day.
The four step skin care line boasts two major technologies: Pro-Xylene, the result of seven years research, is a patented natural molecule derived from the beech tree. Hyaluronic acid boosts moisture levels in the skin and plumps out lines.
Step 1 - Derma Genesis Serum Concentrate is applied after cleansing and before moisturising day and night. The waterlight formulation should be applied in an upwards motion.
Step 2 - Derma Genesis SPF15 Day Cream hydrates, plumps and illuminates the skin as well as providing UV protection.
Step 3 - Derma Genesis Eye Contour Cream plumps out the skin around the eye area to reduce lines. The formulation is suitable even for sensitive skin.
step 4 - Derma Genesis Intensive Night Cream is richer than the day cream and treats the skin during it's night time recovery mode. Once massaged into the skin it encourages the skin's micro-circulation systems and drainage.
Consumer tests showed that 83% agreed that skin was left with a dewy glow, 75% thought skin was tautened and 74% that skin was more plumped.
Rénergie Morpholift R.A.R.E. is a new lifting and firming innovation from Lancome. The formulation contains a unique sequence of amino acids which have a re-tightening and reshaping effect. An immediate micro-tensing action tautens the surface of the skin making it appear firmer and more lifted with more defined contours. Skin is hydrated, rejuvenated and wrinkles appear diminished.
After four weeks continuous use facial contours are said to be visibly repositioned, wrinkles reduced and skin looks firmer.
A specialised neck cream and face masque are also available.

Aveda have extended their Outer Peace skin care line with Blemish Relief Lotion. The formula contains salicylic acid, methyl soyate, tamanu oil and Boswellia serrata to clear up blemishes whilst maintaing the skins moisture levels.
Tesco have added Radiance Face Mask to their organic Bnatural collection. It contains moisturising apricot oil, protecting kakadu plum and wild yam extract to help smooth and firm the skin. Additionally inca inchi oil helps regenerate and maintain skin hydration. The formula contains no artificial colours or synthetic fragrances and the packaging is recyclable.
GTC tested: Three of us in the GTC tried this and were impressed with the results. The product was left on for the required five minutes, after which skin felt noticeably smoother and looked more even in tone with a kind of matte sheen. I found the perfume too strong and I could still smell it once the mask had been rinsed off.

The Sanctuary's new Sunshine Spa Moisture Lotion SPF15 is a daily moisturiser with built in self tanners for a sunkissed glow even during the winter months. It combines 4-in-1 action: Instant colour and radiance upon application, gradual day-by-day colour build for a more noticeable tan, daily moisturisation and SPF15 UVA and UVB sun protection.

The Purist Company have launched a new facial cream as part of their A'kin range to tackle very dry skin. Rosehip & Shea Intensive Moisture Anti-oxidant Complex soothes and revitalises dehydrated skin. The formula has an intensive ingredient combination: Australian avocado, shea butter, Rosa canina seed extract, olive and jojoba oils and Aloe barbadensis. Like other A'kin products their are no added parabens or sulfates.
