L'Oreal's new Skin Re-Modeller targets the hollow appearance which affects facial features during the ageing process. The cream contains a patented active pro collagen encapsulated within biospheres which are capable of inflating to up to nine times their original size on contact with water, this helps to plump out the skin. The bioshperes are derived natural alfalfa extract, rich in amino acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins and trace elements. Additionally, the cream, which is part of the Wrinkle Decrease line, provides SPF 15 protection.

Korres have re-launched their mens' skincare range, it now has a new anti-ageing line and some popular products have been re-formulated.
Ginseng face Gel-Cleanser has been made with soap substitutes which cleanse and refresh the skin; Ruscus & Chestnut Face Cream SPF 15 is an anti-ageing cream designed to smooth fines lines, firm facial contours and revitalises the skin; Marigold an Ginseng aftershave Balm improves the firmness and tone of he skin. Additionally Borage Anti-Shine Moisturiser SPF 6 and Absinthe Shave Cream have been reformulated.
Also available are new additions to the hair care range.

Bourjois Duo Scrub & Baume Lip Care combines a scrub to buff away dry skin and an intense moisturising balm to protect lips from future dryness.


Estée Lauder have launched Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher as part of their
Idealist skin care collection. The non-acid skin refinisher reduces the appearance of enlarged pores and leaves skin soft and radiant. Central to the formulation is glucosmine which is incorporated at three times the strength than with the original Idealist formula. This helps the skin's natural desquamation process. Additionally, chestnut extract has been added to help speed up the effects of the glucosamine, and a unique smoothing polymer evens out imperfections and fine lines whilst actually filling in enlarged, sagging pores.


To further improve skin appearance, light diffusing technology scatters light, reducing the visibility of shadows. A blend of mulberry, scutellaria, yeast extracts and vitamins A and E regulate the skin's sebum lipid oxidation to further reduce the appearance of pores.


GTC tested: Really like this. It has a very soft siliconey texture which glides easily on the skin and leaves it soft but not at all greasy. A little bit goes a long way and it smells lovely too.

Soap & Glory's new Scrub Your Nose In It is an exfoliator said to unclog and reduce the size of pores which can turn into zits. The formula contains diatomaceous earth, a refined earth that lifts daily grime and dead skin cells from the skin's surface and helps stimulate circulation; montmorillite clay to absorb excess oil; and fruit extracts to speed up the rate of cell shedding.
The scrub also doubles as a mask for a more intense treatment.

Clarins new Generation 6 Double Serum combats ageing, reduces the formation of new wrinkles and boosts radiance for a youthful look. The formulation contains Inca Peanut, London Rocket seed, Marula and Centella Asiatica. In order to use all these ant-aging ingredients together Clarins have created a two phase system so that the oil based and water based extracts can be kept separate but still used in conjunction with one another for a synergistic effect.

New to Origins Youthtopia line is firming Eye Cream containing the plant extract rhodiola which enables the skin to function at it's optimum level and helps to combat lines by fighting stress levels. Passion flower extract and phytosphingosine have been included to reduce puffiness.
