New to Estée Lauder this summer is Azurée Soliel designed by Tom Ford. The new range is split into two colour collections: The Soirée Look combining deep plum and rich wine tones and The Bronzée Look containing shades of bronze and gold. Each of the products in these collections are only available for a limited time.
Each colour collection comprises of: The Body Tint, The Lip SPF 15, The Face Sheen, The Eyeliner, The Lacquer, The Cheek Glow, The Eye Duo, The Lip Gloss, The Lip, The Face Glow and The Sunbronzer. However, the lip, eye, cheek and nail colours vary depending on which collection they are in, Bronzée or Soirée. |
Complexion
Glam Bronze from L'Oreal comes in two made-to-measure shades: Blonde Harmony with golden shimmer and Brunette Harmony with copper shimmer.
Eyes
Rimmel's Glow and Go Cool Quad Eyeshadows, part of the Urban Beach collection, comprises of light and dark bronze, a brilliant aqua and an ice white highlighter. |
Lancóme's Ombré Glacée Cooling Gel Eye Shadow comes in a selection of icy pastels and actually cools the eye area as it is applied.
New Volume Socking Exact Brush from L'Oreal is a two step system with a base coat to prime lashes with a formulation containing film forming, plumping polymers and pro vitamin B5. Step two is the Expansium mascara which is applied with the new Exact Brush. The result is dramatic volume with even the finest of lashes being coated from root to tip for maximum impact.
GTC Tested: The brush was precise which meant even corner lashes could be coated. Tried to use the mascara without the base coat - it does not work. It needs the base there to coat properly. Using the step-by-step formula correctly ensures good volume and length.
Another new mascara available from L'Oreal is Telescopic Clean Definition which uses a high precision flexible brush to separate and define lashes individually, lengthening them by up to 50%. |  |

Revlon have launched four limited edition lip products.
New Sugar Sugar Lip Topping is a pearly powder crystal top coat. Applied over lipsticks and glosses it creates a frosted sparkle effect and the innovative applicator delivers the perfect amount each time. Five candy shades are available: Snowflake, Lemon Drop, Sprinkled Pink, Peri-Twinkle and Pixie Plum.
Midnight Swirl Lip Lustre contains "Never-before-seen" black pearls to create a low-lit effect on lips. The formulation is scented and flavoured with sophisticated port wine and the soft brush provides precision application. Seven shades are available including Reddish Fetish and Sassy Sangria.
Crushed Velvet also contains black micro pearls which are both blended into and sprayed over the lipstick for double impact. The lipstick has a velvety texture with a pearlised moist-matte finish and comes in shades like Choco-Lust and Blackmail.
Just Bitten has a water light formula and comes in four fruity shades: Berry Juicy, Plum Wicked, Blood Orange and Cherry Tart. They are said to contain real fruit extracts. |
Nails
Flash Point nail enamels are a set of new summer shades from Creative. Three maximum impact summer shades are available: Flare (watermelon) Burn (hibiscus red) Glow (gold shimmer) and Scorch (sparkling magenta).
Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Enamel only takes one second per nail to apply thanks to the unique fan shaped brush which coats the nail in enamel in one stroke. One coat is said to give enough coverage for a perfect manicure. |
