At Diane Von Furstenbeg faces were left fairly neutral except for the lips which were coloured with a bright fuchsia shade.
Lips too were the focus at Valentino where glossy red shades were used.
Graphic eye make-up was seen at Karl Lagerfeld. To create such sharp lines Daniel Sandler's Rub It Out may come in useful - a handy little pen to erase make-up mishaps. It has been designed for precision make-up removal for eye and lip make-up. Each pen comes with three refill tips.
At Chanel eyes were given maximum impact with foil shine shades whilst the rest of the face was left bare. A very similar effect is achievable with the Cornelius GTC Foil Reflection Eyeshadow (RE173-05*) which comes in silver and other colourways. |

Clarins new Instant Light collection features Instant Light Complexion Perfector which illuminates and evens skin tone for a fresh, flawless, radiant complexion. It can be applied alone or under foundation.
- GTC Tested: This has a nice light texture which rubs easily into the skin and a pleasant fragrance. After application skin is noticeably illuminated but not sparkly or shiny. There is no sticky after feel. I believe a similar effect could be achieved with low levels of Gemtone Tan Opal.
Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base which brightens and evens the under eye area and can also be used all over the lid to help keep make-up on.
Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch fills lines and smoothes the skin adding luminosity and reducing shadows. It contains silicones and vitamin E and can be worn alone or under foundation.
Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector is a light reflecting lipgloss to even and plump the lips. It is available in both pink and peach.
- GTC Tested: This applies smoothly and gives a nice glossy effect. However, it comes off really quickly even without eating or drinking so the benefits don't last long.

Inspired by "Elegance" Guerlain's spring colour collection features delicate pinks in soft textures. KissKiss Gloss is available in 10 new shades and three new textures - gloss, pearl and petal and KissKiss Maxi Shine is available in five new shades including Nude and Lychee.
Radiant Blush now comes in beige chair and rose plein.
Radiant Colour Single eyeshadows have had the new colourways of gold fever and blue fever added and the eyeshadow quads are now available in Touche de Naturel (pink and brown shades) and Touche de Lilas (violet, lilac and aubergine tones).
Estee Lauder's new colour collection Exotic is available in two colourways: Resort, a blend of two pinks; and Exotic, soft coarl hues.
The range includes Brilliant Shimmer All-Over Powder in Coral Sand and Rose Quartz and Tender Blush Stick which is available in eight shades including Plum, Rose, Copper and Coral. |
Complexion
YSL's Perfect Touch Foundation has an integral brush for quick, easy, professional application. One squeeze of the tube is said to deliver just enough foundation to cover the face. The formulation contains YSL's Baby skin complex which restores moisture levels and Ampli Light+ pigments which disguise imperfections through light diffusion. Available in 14 shades ranging from ivory to chocolate.
Age Re-Perfect Re-Plumping Foundation is new to L'Oreal's Age Re-Perfect range. The formulation camouflages imperfections and age spots whilst moisturising and plumping the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The foundation contains VitaCollagen, a combination of vitamin E and marine collagen which helps protect the skin from dehydration, silicone elastomers which hide flaws, Lumi-pearls to create a radiant appearance and anti-redness pigments to even the skin tone.
A number of powder "Compact" products are now available from Clarins: Bronzing Duo Compact contains two bronzing shades for shaping and contouring; Bronzing Powder Compact has a single shade; Powder Blush Compact gives a subtle hint of colour; and Powder Compact is a foundation which gives medium matte coverage. All of these contain Clarins Anti-Pollution complex which protects the skin from Free Radicals and UV rays.  | Not actually new but recently tried out in the GTC - Daniel Galvin's award winning Watercolour liquid blusher. The silicone based product is waterproof and comes in 12 shades, including Kiss, Icing, Cherub and Dare.
- GTC Tested: A single dot is all that's needed for each cheek.The result is a clear wash of nice, natural colour which lasts for ages. For a deeper tone two layers can be applied.

Eyes
Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara is soon to be launched by Estee Lauder. It thickens, lengthens and defines without weighing lashes down. Four colours are available: Black, Brown, Brown/Red and Grey.
Clarins Colour Quartet for Eyes contain four easy to blend shades. There are three colourways available - fresh shades for spring in pale green, pink lilac and gold; neutral cappuccino tones for warm colouring and cool grey shades.
Lips
Lancôme's Color Fever Gloss with Shine-Reflect System™, where pigments and pearls are dispersed in an ultra-gloss formulation, produces crystal-clear shine and flashes of light which gives colour a vibrant look. The heart-shaped Plump™ Applicator provides precision application. Three texture effects are available: Lacquered, Satin and Shimmer.
Watershine Elixir is a new liquid lip colour from Maybelline. The cream formulation is packaged in a pen-style applicator and colour is released by clicking the "pen". A precision tip allows easy application. |  |
