In 1991 Daniel graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an HND in Applied Biology. One year of this course was spent on a sugar beet research farm in Suffolk assessing the impact of FYM on sugar beet yields (that’s farm yard manure not a new chemical compound). After this he spent several years working in the biology department at a local sixth form college before joining Boots the Chemists in 1997.

At Boots Daniel worked in suncare formulation and the Innovation team developing several patented technologies. The last 3 years at Boots were spent investigating new claims substantiation methods and supporting the evaluation team. Daniel also gained an HNC in Cosmetic Science from the London College of Fashion. Daniel now works for Cornelius as Technical Sales Representative for the Cosmetics and Personal Care market covering the East of the UK.

I live in Derbyshire with my girlfriend Jess and love walking, cooking and eating, especially curry. At the weekends, when I am not taxi driving for my children, I can often be found in the garden or enjoying a glass of wine.
